Our Mission

Living Life to the Fullest exists to help people move from fear, emotional pain, and unhealthy habits into clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom. We support individuals in breaking free from patterns that no longer serve them and learning how to live with purpose, honesty, and self-trust.

Through practical tools, honest self-reflection, and real-life guidance rooted in Dennis’s own journey, the program helps people understand what drives their behavior and how to create lasting, meaningful change. This is not about perfection — it’s about progress, awareness, and learning how to show up for yourself every day.

Our goal is to help people reconnect with who they truly are, rebuild trust in their relationships, and create a life no longer controlled by fear, avoidance, or false stability — but guided by courage, purpose, and emotional strength.

Everything you need is on the other side of fear.

THE CREATOR BEHIND THE WORKBOOK

Dennis Henning

Author, Behavioral Health Expert & Life Transformation Mentor

Dennis works with individuals to help them restore faith in themselves, rebuild trust in their relationships, and break free from patterns rooted in emotional pain, addiction, and unhealthy coping behaviors.

As a man who has personally faced an eating disorder, weight struggles, and long-term emotional challenges, Dennis understands firsthand what it means to fight through shame, isolation, and self-doubt. His journey through treatment, recovery, and continued personal growth is the foundation of Living Life to the Fullest. The tools, reflections, and practices in this program are the same ones he developed and used to rebuild his own life — and continues to use today.

Through daily reflections, journaling, storytelling, and honest conversation, Dennis shares both the struggles and the breakthroughs of real change. He speaks openly about the realities many people — especially men — feel pressured to hide, helping others realize they are not weak, broken, or alone. His approach blends emotional awareness, accountability, and compassion to support lasting transformation.

Alongside his personal recovery work, Dennis brings deep professional experience in behavioral health, utilization review, rehab operations, clinical training, documentation, and program development. He has worked closely with treatment centers, families, schools, and corporations to help build ethical systems, strong clinical teams, and effective care models that support long-term healing.

Today, Dennis continues to serve as a mentor, advocate, and guide — helping people move from fear and survival into clarity, confidence, and purposeful living.

“Simply put, I work with individuals to help them restore faith in themselves, in others, and in relationships — and to find intimacy and trust in people rather than continuing to rely on food, substances, or behaviors to meet emotional needs.”
- Dennis Henning

The F.E.A.R Method:
Feel It. Understand It. Change it.

The F.E.A.R. Method applies to real-life struggles — including food, addiction, relationships, control, and emotional avoidance — not just emotions.

FEEL
Recognize and accept what you’re feeling — without numbing, avoiding, or escaping it.

EVERYTHING
Notice the full picture — emotions, reactions, habits, triggers, and patterns.

ATTRIBUTED
Understand where your patterns began — life experiences, trauma, beliefs, and fear.

REALITY
Put it into words so you can face it, work through it, and change it.

Fear often disguises itself as safety and stability — keeping people stuck in routines that feel “secure” but block real growth.

Testimonials

I met Dennis in 2019 after the first time I made an attempt on my life. It was a strange time for me and very dark. My depression was at an all-time high, and I was very lost and unsure of myself. I was in a terrible relationship with my then-girlfriend, coming off an injury, and for the first time in my career was on a new team. Needless to say, my life was chaotic."

Dennis and I started communicating in the spring of 2019, but I was very skeptical and not as forthcoming early on. Dennis persisted, regularly checking up on me, giving me words of encouragement, and generally taking an interest in my well-being. It was the first time in a while I felt someone actually cared about me past what I could do for them. We formed a closed bond that I am happy to say has turned into a brotherhood. Six years later, I consider Dennis part of my family. Our relationship has grown in ways I wouldn’t have imagined. He cares for me but challenges me to do better. He has been there with me every step of the way through my retirement from the NFL, my spells of depression and anxiety, my suicidal ideation, and attempts. He has given me unwavering support and has always reminded me to do the work that needs to be done to improve. I would go to war with him any day.

During our time together, Dennis consistently demonstrated exceptional perseverance and dedication to the well-being of all patients. His ability to teach proper documentation to personalize all patients within a faulted system was particularly impressive, as he was able to advocate for those in life-and-death need of care who were often considered merely numbers.

Not only have I learned from Dennis, but I have also gained a great friend who will always fight to do the right thing. Dennis is a highly motivated and capable individual with a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to his clients.

I have known Dennis Henning for over 20 years now as a friend and a colleague. We met when I was working for PacifiCare Behavioral Health as a Case Manager and Supervisor, and Dennis was doing utilization review for one of the Treatment Centers that was contracted with PacifiCare. I remember being quite amazed by the information he knew, the understanding of the behavioral aspects of treatment, and the qualitative analysis he was able to reiterate when discussing mental health and substance use disorders within the limits of the DSM-IV at the time. The quality of his work doing insurance utilization review was better than most people I spoke with who had Masters Degrees and PhDs.

Dennis Henning has a remarkable ability to connect with people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and make a meaningful difference in their lives. He is truly interested in helping clients resolve their issues, and it shows in the quality of his work. Dennis, through his own experiences in life, is able to bring an authenticity and understanding that is inspirational. What sets Dennis apart from others in this field is his continuous commitment to growth. He is always reading new information on all areas of mental health and seeking new ways to help others. His insight, combined with his unwavering dedication, creates a sense of hope and possibility for everyone he encounters.
